2 die in grenade attack at Kenya church

WAJIR, Kenya (AP) - Police say two people have been killed in a
suspected al-Shabab attack on a church in eastern Kenya.
Kenyan police chief Leo Nyongesa said that a mother and her two
children were also injured when attackers hurled a grenade at the
Pentecostal Church in Garissa late Saturday.
He said Sunday that police were investigating, but had made no
arrests. Nyongesa said they're not ruling out that it could have
been an attack by Islamist militant group al-Shabab, which controls
part of neighboring Somalia.
Al-Shabab has promised retaliatory attacks to protest the Kenyan
military operation in Somalia.
A witness said that after the explosion she heard attackers say
"It is just the beginning," in Swahili.
