Battery Problem From Crossed Wires?

TOKYO (AP) — The latest in Japan's investigation of the overheating of a lithium ion battery in an All Nippon Airways Boeing 787 suggests someone got the wires crossed. Japan's Transport Ministry says in a report that the battery of the aircraft's auxiliary power unit was incorrectly connected to the main battery that overheated, even though it was off. The agency says more analysis is needed.
