Bomb Threat Cancels School At Deer Park High School
DEER PARK, Wash. (AP) — Students at Deer Park High School in that community north of Spokane were sent home for the day after one student found a bomb threat written inside a restroom. The Spokesman-Review reports that the message "Bomb goes off at 1 today" was written in felt-tip pen inside a girls' bathroom stall. A smiley face followed the threat. Spokane County sheriff's spokesman Craig Chamberlin said bomb-sniffing dogs swept the campus parking lot and interior yesterday but found no indication of a bomb.
