SPRINGFIELD, Va. (AP) - The church-based filmmakers who produced
"Courageous," "Fireproof" and "Facing the Giants" aren't sure
yet what their next movie will be about.
Sherwood Pictures' co-producer Stephen Kendrick says he's
learned "there's a big difference between a good idea and a God
idea."
Kendrick says he and his brother, "Courageous" star Alex
Kendrick, also have learned that just about everyone has a movie
idea, and some are adamant that God wants Sherwood to make their
scripts into films.
Stephen Kendrick wants well-wishers to know their prayers are
welcome and appreciated, but not their scripts.
Sherwood's films have cost less than $2 million dollars to make
and have earned more than $78 million.
"Courageous" has won MovieGuide's $100,000 Epiphany prize for
best film as well as the $101,000 top prize at the San Antonio
Independent Christian Film Festival.
