WASHINGTON (AP) - Interest rates on federal loans to millions of
college students are set to double July 1 unless Congress acts, but
the bill before the Republican-run House today would be paid for by
cutting funds from the health care overhaul. That's something House
Democrats don't like and it differs from a Senate-approved measure.
