Commissioners Had More Power Than They Thought

SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) — A job evaluation committee will look into a half-dozen raises given to Bonner County sheriff's personnel and deputy clerks. The Bonner County Daily Bee reports that county commissioners approved the move last week. Commissioners had thought they could only acknowledge proposed raises. Later they learned they are authorized to approve wages.
