Cruise-Ship Captain Wants Deal
ROME (AP) — The captain of the cruise liner Costa Concordia is trying to make a deal with prosecutors to avoid a possible long prison sentence if he's convicted in the 2012 shipwreck off the Italian coast. The trial resumed today in Grosseto, Italy, after a week's suspension due to a lawyers' strike. Defense lawyers aren't optimistic. The captain faces 20 years if convicted.
