Ecosystem Management in Montana/Idaho
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Hundreds of pages of objections by 60 individuals or organizations have been filed against a U.S. Forest Service plan for two national forests with borders stretching into both northern Idaho and northwestern Montana. The Missoulian reports Idaho Panhandle Forest spokesman Jason Kirchner says the plan focuses on ecosystem management while trying of balance various uses of the forest. The agency received 22 objections for the Idaho Panhandle National Forest.
