Fed Chairman Meets With Senate Banking Committee
WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke heads to Capitol Hill to present his semiannual report to the Senate Banking Committee today and the House Financial Services Committee tomorrow. It's expected he'll be pressed to clarify the Federal Reserve's approach to the still-sluggish U.S. economy and the future of the Fed's bond buying program.
