Gun Control Measures Dead In OR Legislature
SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Four gun-control bills have hit a wall in the Oregon Legislature. Senate President Peter Courtney said yesterday the bills won't get a vote on the Senate floor because there isn't enough support for them to pass. Courtney says he'll appoint a group of lawmakers to try to come up with a bipartisan compromise. He hasn't said who exactly will work on that plan.
