Gun Owners Buy Up Ammo

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Ammunition is flying off the shelves and some stores nationwide are finding it hard to keep shelves stocked. Gun enthusiasts fearful of new weapon controls and alarmed by rumors of government hoarding are buying bullets practically by the bushel, and some stores are limiting purchases as a result. Sportsmen and tradesmen say the current nationwide shortages are the worst they've seen.
