Holding Up Our Hands
I always look forward to Faith Filled Friday. It's my favorite day of the week because we share how God has been showing Himself to us all week. The stories I hear are always a blessing to me, and I always end up leaving the Positive Life Radio studios thanking Him for letting me work in a place where I can boldly speak of Him.
Today isn't Friday, but I got this incredible email from Joy saying she couldn't wait for Friday to share God's goodness in her life. I wanted to make sure I passed it along to you too! Here it is:
"Elizabeth – I have had a huge struggle in the last 2 weeks and this morning, with a song in my heart, I couldn’t wait for faith filled Friday to share a word of encouragement….so in my 28 ways in 28 days – this is for anyone who needs to be encouraged today.
When Moses faced the Red Sea he simply had to pick up his staff and stretch out his hands...God held back the waters all night. In whatever moment or season you are in...in faith, by faith - pick up the staff, walk to the water’s edge and stretch out your hands! God is there prepared to do all the work! He will hold back the waters...fighting our battles even in the night...and when we are too discouraged, too weak, too worn and weary...He sends those closest to us to lift up our hands...and at times even carry us to the water’s edge. For He who promised is faithful! Let your heart be willing today and let God do the work!
The song in my heart this morning … Mandisa – “Stronger” - when the waves are taking you under, hold on just a little bit longer – He’s gonna make you stronger! We are loved!!!!"
It made my heart so happy to hear of God's goodness in her life. Be encouraged and know that God is doing the same in your life too. Even if you don't see it now.
