ID To Force Labor Law Compliance
BOISE, Idaho (AP) - The Idaho Department of Labor says most
employers don't comply with a law requiring them to report new
hires within 20 days. The agency says efforts to boost compliance
with the law are under way and part of a plan to reduce
unemployment fraud. A federal audit in September found Idaho
improperly made $82 million in unemployment payments over a
three-year period.
