Long Gas Lines In New York

NEW YORK (AP) — Long lines at gas stations in suburban Westchester County snaked along expressway breakdown lanes and exit ramps today as the morning commute began and frustration mounted at the slow pace of basic recovery. But there are signs of hope. Con-Ed vows to restore power by the weekend to many customers in Manhattan and Brooklyn and more subways and rail lines are reopening today.
