Man Will Attempt To Swim 22 Miles Across Lake St. Clair

ALGONAC, Mich. (AP) — Jim Dreyer is attempting a long-distance swim this morning — a 30-hour, 22-mile swim in Lake St. Clair near the Michigan-Canadian border. And if that isn't challenging enough, the 49-year-old is hauling dinghies filled with 2,000 pounds of bricks. Dreyer, who calls himself "The Shark," has made direct crossings of each of the five Great Lakes.
