OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — The Washington Health Department says there have been no cases reported in the state of a rare and deadly form of meningitis. Spokesman Donn Moyer says epidemiologists are watching for the disease. It has sickened 26 people in five states — 18 in Tennessee. The other states are Virginia, Maryland, Florida and North Carolina. Four people have died in the outbreak. All received steroid injections, mostly for back pain.
