Obama Proposes Infrastructure Investments
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is making a pitch today for investments in infrastructure. Obama plans to make a quick trip to South Florida and will detail his proposals at a Miami port that's undergoing upgrades funded by public and private money. One thing the president will push for is a higher cap on "private activity bonds" to encourage the private sector to spend more on highway projects and other infrastructure needs.
