Obama Wants Targeted Tax Cut Extension; Attacks Romney
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama will be making an
appeal today for Congress to pass a one-year extension of tax cuts
for households making less than $250,000 a year. That's according
to senior campaign aide Robert Gibbs. Obama's campaign also plans to use the tax debate in Washington to ramp up its criticism of
Mitt Romney. He's been slammed by Democrats for not releasing
several years of tax returns and for having some of his money in
offshore accounts.
