Oregon Doc Helps Injuured In Boston Explosion
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon physician did not have any time to rest after completing the Boston Marathon. Paul Pearson of Florence had just finished the race and was walking back to a hotel with his wife Rachel when they heard the first of two explosions that killed at least three people and injured scores more. Rachel Pearson told KCST radio her husband put on his sweats and began to treat the wounded. She says everyone jumped in to help on what she described as "a day like no other."
