Oregon Gov. Disappointed In WA Gov. Over Highway Failure

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber says he's "extremely disappointed" that Washington state lawmakers weren't able to agree on funding for the $3.4 billion Columbia River Crossing project. In a statement released Saturday, the Democratic governor thanked Washington Gov. Jay Inslee for his unsuccessful push to win funding for the project. Supporters say the money was necessary to keep up to $1.2 billion in federal support on track.
