Pendleton SWAT Respond To Threat In Drug Raid

PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — An officer in a drug raid in Pendleton wounded an occupant of a house early yesterday. The Oregon State Police said officers from a Pendleton SWAT team and a regional drug squad had a search warrant for the house. During the search, a statement says, an occupant with a weapon confronted an officer, who fired. The wounded man was reported hospitalized in stable condition, and an investigation is under way.
