Post Office To Stop Delivering Letters On Saturday Except For Packages

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. Postal Service says it plans to stop delivering mail on Saturdays. The cut is scheduled to be announced later today. It would start in August and save the financially struggling Postal Service about $2 billion annually. The Postal Service will continue delivering packages six days a week.
