Reno air show Pastor

RENO, Nev. (AP) - A church pastor says he held hands with people
and knelt in prayer over the body of a woman who died in a Nevada
air show crash that killed nine people and injured dozens more.
The Rev. Thomas Babu recounted his experience Sunday
after a moment of silence at St. Michael Catholic Church for
victims in the crash at the National Championship Air Races.
The church and its cinderblock steeple are just four blocks from
the Reno-Stead Airport, where the Friday crash occurred. When Babu
heard about the crash, he went to the scene.
Babu says the church hosted a memorial Saturday for another of
the eight spectators killed in the crash of the 1940s-model P-51
Mustang. Pilot Jimmy Leeward also died.
