Senate Likely To Pass Immigration Overhaul
WASHINGTON (AP) — Sufficient support from both sides of the aisle appears to be in place as the Senate prepares to vote, possibly today, on a major immigration overhaul. The measure offers eventual citizenship to millions now in the U.S. illegally and spends billions of dollars to secure the border. But Many in the GOP-controlled House oppose the pathway to citizenship at the center of the Senate bill.
