Spain Holds Successful Bond Issue
MADRID (AP) — Spain held a successful bond sale today as investors wait for the government to decide whether it will seek a financial bailout. Five-year bonds were auctioned on an average interest rate of 4.76 percent, down from 6.45 percent in the last such auction. The Interest rate for shorter term bonds was slightly higher than the last time.
