Stagnant Air Should Go Away Soon
SEATTLE (AP) — The stagnant air that has been held over the state for nearly two weeks by a high pressure temperature inversion should clear out tonight in Western Washington and tomorrow in Eastern Washington. Forecasters say a series of weather systems will move through the state in the next few days bringing a chance of rain showers in Western Washington and rain or light snow showers in Eastern Washington.
