Texas Residents Lose Power

TEXAS CITY, Texas (AP) - Schools are closed, and authorities are telling residents of Texas City, Texas, to stay inside this morning. The shelter-in-place alert comes after a third refinery in the area lost electricity. Two other plants lost power last night. The cause of the outages is under investigation. Emergency officials say there have been no emissions of hazardous materials reported.
