WA Lawmakers Want To Monitor Repeat Drunk Drivers

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Washington lawmakers are hoping to give final approval today to legislation that monitor repeat drunk drivers. The Senate yesterday approved a revised proposal that would require interlock devices in vehicles of people with a second DUI offense. The state would also begin a pilot program to conduct daily alcohol monitoring on a person convicted twice under the DUI law.
