Walla Walla Pen On Lockdown

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — Four units at the Washington State Penitentiary remained on lockdown yesterday following fighting that left some inmates hurt. The Department of Corrections says fighting broke out about 8 p.m. Saturday during an outdoor recreation period. A spokesman says about 50 offenders may have been involved but officials are investigating the cause.
