Texas Flooding Disaster Relief

As heavy floods devastate Texas communities, Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse is responding to the critical needs of the victims.

More than 12 inches of rain fell in Central Texas during a 24-hour period. The downpour caused the Blanco River to crest nearly 30 feet above flood stage and the Hays County cities have suffered extensive flood damage.

Lives have been lost, individuals are missing, many people have been injured, and thousands of families are affected. More than 350 homes were destroyed and an estimated 1,200 people are homeless.

Samaritan's Purse has deployed a disaster relief unit to San Marcos, Texas to help families affected by the floods.

Please pray for the people of Texas who have suffered loss and for the teams of volunteers who respond in the name of Jesus.
