Days of Compassion

This year, our annual Days of Compassion will be held May 14 & 15. We always look forward to this time because it gives us the opportunity to advocate for children in the Third World who need hope and need to hear about Jesus. Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

During the two-day event this year, our goal is to sponsor 200 at-risk children around the world through Compassion International. At-risk means that children are living in areas where they might experience higher incidents of child rights violations. These violations include child prostitution, child trafficking, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect, harmful child labor, early marriages and harmful cultural practices.

Sponsorship is $38 a month per child and goes towards providing food, water, and access to a doctor, education, and Jesus. Each child is looking forward to one day having a sponsor, and you could be their hope!

We are excited to share their stories with you.
