Relief Effort for Moore OK

May 23 - May 26

Location: Walla Walla

ADRA, a worldwide relief agency, has a team on the ground that has sent out a message with the following needs for the people of Moore, OK.

Needed items:

Shovels
rakes
masks
work gloves
cleaning supplies
personal hygiene items (toilet paper, feminine hygiene soap, deodorant, shaving cream, tooth paste, tooth brushes)
baby diapers and wipes
canned food items
plastic storage containers
tarps
hammers
cap nails
plywood
batteries
flashlights
large trash bags
blankets, pillows and covers
hand sanitizer
antibiotic cream
first aid supplies
paper towels
over-the-counter medicines (Tylenol, Advil)
ice chests
baby formula
snack foods (easy to distribute - non crushable)
socks
non-perishable food
laundry detergent
bottled water
pet food
Towels and wash cloths
No clothing please.

Drop-offs can be made at:
City Church
2133 Howard Street
Walla Walla
(mark items "Tornado Victims").

Smaller items may be dropped off anytime at our Community Services Location (The small house with a drop window at the Northwest corner of the Friendship Center Building on Tietan Street).

If the donations are larger, please drop them off during office hours, 10am-3pm, Monday through Friday and anytime between 8:30 and 1pm on Saturday.

Cash donations to ADRA can be sent through the ADRA website with a credit card (adra.org — these funds will be paid out to ADRA teams in OK).

Some funds, however, are needed for immediate help to the victims when the local team arrives in Oklahoma.

Those who would like to know exactly where their funds are used can give a tax-deductible donation to "City Church" and indicate somewhere on the check "Tornado Victims" and it will be processed for immediate use in helping the people of Moore.
