8th Annual Wenatchee Valley Empty Bowls Community Painting

Inspire Creativity, Build Community, and Raise Awareness about Food Insecurity and Hunger in Chelan and Douglas Counties.

Wenatchee Valley Empty Bowls is an annual event designed to bring together the community through creative expression and education.

Paintings will be Jan. 19th, and Feb. 16

How it Works:

  • Attend one of our three community paintings held at Pybus Public Market this winter
  • For a $10 donation ($35 for a family up to 5) receive a blank ceramic bowl
  • Tickets will be purchased the day of the Painting Party at Pybus Market
  • Customize your bowl however you like at the community painting. We will provide all the materials you supply the creativity!
  • Pick up your fired bowl at a simple soup and bread dinner held at Wenatchee High School on March 14th (5-8 pm)
  • Learn about hunger in our community, current relief efforts, and what you can do to fight it
  • Keep your bowl as a reminder of all the bowls that go empty in our valley each year
  • All proceeds go to the NCW Food Distribution Center which delivers over a million pounds of food annually to area food pantries and programs

Inspira creatividad, crea comunidad y crea conciencia sobre la inseguridad alimentaria y el hambre en los condados de Chelan y Douglas.
